TOWN -- Sudbury's Finance Committee's FY28 Budget Working Group, meeting Aug. 31, discussed the town's debt service projections as part of a broader review of the fiscal 2028 budget gap. Officials said the projections account for financing tied to several capital projects, including the Atkinson pool, along with the DPW concrete floor and a new ambulance, though final debt figures will not be set until the town goes out to bond in December.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Sudbury Youth Soccer's website says "A New Season Is Underway" as the fall 2026 season begins, with a published Haskell Field layout and a fall weekly field schedule now posted. Registration is currently open, with the site listing "Current Open Registration" and youth program fees for age groups from Pre-K Mini Kickers through 9th to 12th grade. The organization's field status page lists Haskell Field, Cutting, and LSRHS all as "Open."
