The board separately approved a $7.7 million bond anticipation note from Piper Sandler and Co. at a 3.75 percent coupon (3.17 percent net) with a $21,868 premium, funding Camp Sewataro work and the Haynes and Nixon school roofs. Assistant Town Manager Victor Garofalo said school roof bids came in significantly below the roughly $12 million authorization and that the Atkinson pool project may return $700,000 to $800,000 to the town. A June 24 public input session on Liberty Ledge/Camp Sewataro drew 60 residents; Camp Sewataro operations scored 156 weighted priority points, against 23 for the next-highest idea.
