SUDBURY — The Sudbury Select Board approved a single-unit affordable-housing application for 16 Stone Road after confirming local preference does not apply to one-unit Local Action Unit projects. The board also appointed Patricia "Patsy" Maxson as the Council on Aging's first alternate member and heard Town Manager Andrew Sheehan report that fiscal 2026 free cash was certified at $9.98 million, which he called "exceptionally good news." Liberty Ledge/Sewataro Advisory Committee chair Dave Henkels said the panel, reviewing the town's $11.3 million camp property, has 14 draft recommendations due to the board by October 31. KP Law attorney Lauren Goldberg briefed the board on charter-amendment options, as member Daniel Carty pushed the board to define "why" a review is needed before debating "how." The board also deferred debt-management policy discussion and voted unanimously to enter executive session to review decade-old meeting minutes.
