SUDBURY — January 10, 2023 — Sudbury Permanent Building Committee approves roughly $47,000 in Fairbank change orders and IT purchases. The committee voted 6-0 to approve change proposals CP1 and CP6 totaling $11,597.95, covering out-of-sequence generator pad demolition and an added water-line run required by the water district. A second 6-0 vote authorized a not-to-exceed $30,000 construction change directive on Bulletin 30R1 for selective demolition and foundation modifications at a new Parks and Rec entry column. Members also approved $35,921.36 for four town network switches and $5,310 for one school switch, citing a 206-day procurement lead time. Project manager Chris said the team will ask the ZBA to revise the front-setback variance by about six inches after a survey discrepancy of "28 minutes" of arc. On the separate fire station project, $932,000 of the $6.1 million budget has been spent, with the project reported on schedule.
