Lincoln-Sudbury committee interviews three finalists for combined superintendent-principal job
SUDBURY — March 31, 2023 — Lincoln-Sudbury school committee interviews three sitting principals for combined superintendent-principal role. Jamie Chisholm of Wellesley High School, Dr. Andrew Stevens of Lexington High School and Dr. Allison Mizuguchi of Wayland High School each fielded 90 minutes of standard questions on the dual role, equity, collective bargaining, budget and transportation. Chisholm cited nine years as Wellesley principal and a mentor relationship with former L-S superintendent-principal Matt King. Stevens, overseeing 2,300-plus students in Lexington, called the soup-to-nuts budget process his biggest learning curve and said he is "most aware of what I don't know." Mizuguchi, a lifelong Wayland educator with a new BC doctorate, said she chose the role because it keeps her in "close proximity" to classrooms. Public comment is scheduled for Tuesday's school committee meeting; community feedback forms are open online.
