Lincoln-Sudbury advances three superintendent-principal finalists for public interviews

SUDBURY — March 23, 2023 — Lincoln-Sudbury school committee advances three superintendent-principal finalists toward an April 5 vote. The committee voted unanimously Thursday to accept Jamie Chisholm, Allison Mizuguchi and Andrew Stevens as finalists, chosen by an 11-member screening subcommittee from 24 applications reviewed over three months. Subcommittee Chair Kevin Matthews identified Mizuguchi as a Wellesley High School principal and Stevens as principal at Lexington High School, and said back-to-back daylong campus visits will run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, each capped by a 7 p.m. televised community forum. MASC consultant Glenn Koocher advised against sending committee members to candidates' home districts, calling such visits "somewhat disruptive" and recommending intensified Zoom reference checks instead. Former committee member Jack Ryan, in public comment, pressed the board to clarify that its later executive session would not touch the search.
