Council on Aging approves $65,000 and $175,000 revolving fund caps for Town Meeting

SUDBURY — January 27, 2025 — Sudbury Council on Aging keeps $65,000 and $175,000 revolving fund caps for FY26 Town Meeting. Senior Center Director Debra Galloway told the board on January 27 that the program account took in roughly $14,000 and spent $15,000 last year, with instructors paid $50 to $60 per class and participants charged about $6. The larger MWRTA transportation account spent $82,000 on driver pay, fuel and phones against $140,000 received from the regional transit authority. Both limits passed unanimously on motions from members Patricia Tabloski and Paul Marotta. Galloway also previewed tougher Senior Center conduct rules, citing "some unfortunate incidents where people haven't been very respectful of others," with a vote expected February 10.
