Conservation Commission issues order of conditions on Chanticleer Road tree removal

SUDBURY — February 10, 2025 — Sudbury Conservation Commission closes Chanticleer Road buffer case with two-year planting survival clock. The commission voted 4-0 on Feb. 10 to issue an order of conditions for applicant Ashia White at 71 Chanticleer Road, DEP file 301-1430, covering after-the-fact tree removal, a patio renovation and plantings inside the 100-foot wetlands buffer. Conservation staffer Lori told members the order requires a pre-construction meeting with the project landscaper, specifies planting sizes, imposes a two-year survival requirement and mandates invasive species management. "I'm glad I could get it rectified," White told the commission. Members also continued 20 Tavern Circle to March 10 and 331 Hudson Road to Feb. 24, and renewed a fourth-year agricultural license for Mark Kulonowski to tap five sugar maples at Barton Farm in exchange for buckthorn management work.
