Conservation Commission approves Revere Street septic repair, weighs Indian Ridge land gift

SUDBURY — April 10, 2023 — Sudbury Conservation Commission approves Revere Street septic repair and weighs a five-parcel Indian Ridge Road donation. The commission voted unanimously April 10 to issue an order of conditions for replacement of a cracked 2008 septic pump chamber at 14 Revere Street, with applicant representative Michael DeModica pledging to "regrade it to the exact grading that exists" and replant disturbed shrubs. Members then debated whether the town should accept five donated parcels off Indian Ridge Road from Charles Paul — four roughly 0.44-acre lots fronting Hillside Place plus a landlocked fifth — with Conservation Coordinator Lorie Reynolds warning that clearing by abutters could worsen drainage already plaguing 58 Massasoit Avenue downhill. A site walk was scheduled. The commission also extended NUCO's Lincoln Meadow South license one month, swapping the $1,250 fourth-month payment for gravel work upgrading the community garden access road, and recommended reappointing Chair David Henkels and members Jeremy Cook and Luke Faust to new three-year terms.
