Conservation Commission approves Harvey's Farm Lane agricultural order of conditions

SUDBURY — December 16, 2024 — Sudbury Conservation Commission issues Harvey's Farm Lane order with environmental monitor and abutter buffer plantings. The commission voted unanimously Monday to approve a notice of intent from applicant Phil Mastriani for roadway and stormwater work within the 100-foot buffer zone, after revisions to construction sequencing, a switch to the wetland-friendly herbicide garlon, and a commitment by site operator Nick Mastriani to add native shrubs near abutter Connie Stewart's property. "The goal is to have no gaps so that you have privacy," Mastriani said. The commission also signaled support for John Dederian's 2.33-to-1 mitigation framework at 74 and 80 Maynard Road, with 7.74 acres including 4.95 upland acres to be conveyed to the town and additional acreage placed under a conservation restriction, offsetting 92,000 square feet of buffer-zone disturbance across the six-lot subdivision.
