Conservation Commission approves Cudworth Lane garage after months of drainage review

SUDBURY — June 3, 2024 — Sudbury Conservation Commission approves Cudworth Lane garage and Skyview Lane fence after months of review. The commission voted unanimously June 3 to issue an order of conditions for Jay Junglewala's 87 Cudworth Lane garage in the 100-foot buffer zone, requiring a pinned footing, two as-built surveys, and 17 trees and 37 shrubs as mitigation to be planted in March 2025. A separate certificate of compliance closed out past violations at the same property, including unauthorized work and Japanese knotweed Conservation Coordinator Lori Capone said is now "well under control." The commission also approved an order for Irina and David Webster at 32 Skyview Lane to remove 11 trees and install an aluminum picket fence, with member Mark Sevier insisting the alignment be locked in by tape-measure triangulation off the house before posts go in. Two requests for determination were continued to July 1 for missing stormwater and mitigation detail, including a three-season porch at the Wayside Inn.
