Sudbury Park and Recreation will host free watch parties for the World Cup's final two matches this weekend, and Sudbury Youth Soccer is reminding families that fall registration deadlines are approaching.

TOWN -- At the July 14 Select Board meeting, Assistant Town Manager Andy said the Park and Recreation Department is hosting watch parties for the World Cup's final two matches this weekend, with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. Saturday for a 5 p.m. game, and doors opening at 2:30 p.m. Sunday ahead of the 3 p.m. World Cup final. He said more details are posted on the town website. Select Board member Charlie Russo also noted that the next round of swim availability at Camp Siwataro falls on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, with the camp also open some evenings.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Sudbury Youth Soccer's website says Fall 2026 registration is open for Pre-K through 2nd grade, with an August 1 deadline; the organization noted the Grades 3-8 registration deadline of May 25 has already passed, with late registrants placed only if space allows. The club is also promoting its first "Youth Soccer Night" at Boston Legacy FC on Monday, August 31, with tickets on sale and an incentive that if 100 tickets are sold, 16 BAYS and Academy players will be invited to sit on the bench with players during warmups.
