Consultant Bernie Lynch of Community Paradigm Associates presented Maynard Town Administrator Gregory Johnson, Southbridge Town Manager Michael McCall and Middleton Town Administrator Andrew Sheehan — winnowed from 26 applicants and an eight-candidate screening round. Public forums via Zoom are scheduled for Nov. 7 and Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m., with in-person board interviews Nov. 12 at Town Hall and Nov. 19 held as a backup. Member Dan Carty confirmed Sheehan was a finalist in Sudbury's 2015 search. The board also adopted five 2023 priorities led by a vocational education assessment, and Public Works Director Dan Mason announced a $250,000 state Housing Choice grant tied to the town's newly completed 1,185-page Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan. Lynch called the field "a good, strong field for the town."
