Planning Board issues Brimstone Lane permits, continues three other cases to July 17

SUDBURY — June 26, 2024 — Sudbury Planning Board approves Brimstone Lane house, sends Chase Bank circulation back for redesign. The board on June 26 unanimously issued a stormwater permit and scenic road permit for a single-family home at Lot 2 Brimstone Lane, conditioned on a four-foot sump and an 18-foot stone-wall opening, with applicant Carrie Maciel telling members "I'm in tears" after a long permitting process. Members also approved a site plan and stormwater permit for 225 and 227 Boston Post Road after engineer Josh Klein shifted the driveway 160 feet west and accepted a condition tying the final location to MassDOT approval. The board continued the Chase Bank proposal at 505-525 Boston Post Road to July 17 after Chair Stephen Garvin pressed the team — including Wilder Companies senior vice president Mark Hebert and architect Kelly Mahita — to redraw the north-side parking aisle as one-way to eliminate a crossing conflict with the drive-through. The Bonnie Burke Estates subdivision and 24 Goodenow Road were also continued to July 17.
