Planning Board continues Bina Farm stormwater hearing, endorses two ANR plans

SUDBURY — September 24, 2025 — Sudbury Planning Board continues Bina Farm stormwater hearing as town engineer review lags. The board voted 4-0 on Sept. 24 to push the public hearing on a stormwater management permit for 0, 30 and 38 Field Road to Oct. 8, with member Julie Zelermyer Perlman absent. Engineer Jacob Lemieux of Hancock Associates described a 10-space gravel lot, 10 sheds and improvements disturbing roughly 7,110 square feet and adding 5,169 square feet of impervious area on the 15.62-acre Bina Farm property. Chair Stephen Garvin pressed Lemieux on pretreatment, noting a catch basin "will only remove 20 percent of the TSS, where you need to have 44 percent" before discharge to the existing infiltration basin; Lemieux said a hydrodynamic separator could be added. The board also unanimously endorsed two ANR plans — Lot 7 Cutting Lane, presented by Rebecca Cutting, and 435 Coldbrook Drive, presented by Chris Clawson — and opened a discussion on Route 20 corridor study implementation, with members agreeing that rezoning the Village Business District should come first.
