LS School Committee approves interim finance director contract, resets negotiating team

SUDBURY — July 10, 2025 — Lincoln-Sudbury committee approves bridge contract for incoming finance director, reshuffles superintendent negotiating team. Vice-Chair Catherine Bitter announced the committee had unanimously approved, in executive session, a transitional services contract with incoming Director of Operations and Finance Susan Botten covering July 1 through July 27 to bridge the handoff from outgoing director Christine. In open session, members voted 5-0 to remove Chair Ravi Simon from the three-member subcommittee negotiating Superintendent Andrew's contract and add member Charles I. Morton, IV, leaving the panel Bitter, John J. Ryan, Jr. and Morton. "I am, uh, relieved from negotiating for their contracts," Simon told Morton. "We're plugging you in. My condolences." Member Jason D. McLure was absent. The meeting adjourned at 5:25 p.m., 25 minutes after it opened.
