SUDBURY — The Sudbury Housing Authority voted unanimously to hire MassNAHRO to search for both a new executive director and a possible management agent as Sheila Cusolito's retirement takes effect. Commissioner Sherry's motion, seconded by Cynthia, superseded an earlier narrower motion from Frank and passed without opposition; the board separately thanked Cusolito by unanimous vote "for years of service." Commissioners said MassNAHRO's search would cost roughly $5,500 and could begin within a week, with EOHLC holding up to 60 days to approve any new contract. Cusolito described current staffing of one full-time maintenance worker, one full-time administrator, an 18-hour coordinator willing to work up to 30 hours, and a 24-hour residence service coordinator across the agency's 92 total units.
The board set October 23 as a target date for an initial round of resumes and deferred a separate decision on hiring a development consultant for a planned duplex conversion project.
