Housing Authority · Meeting of July 14, 2026

Sudbury Housing Authority approves June transactions, delays developer contract review to August. The board voted unanimously to approve June financial transactions subject to state Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities sign-off, including administrative fees drawn from a shelf development account the executive director estimated is "close to $200" thousand, with many invoices eligible for reimbursement through state PHI or CPA funds. The prospective redevelopment developer contract is under review by two separate legal teams and will not return to the board until August at the earliest.

Members heard the Sudbury Housing Trust has signed a purchase and sale for 16 Stone Road, expects to seek roughly $300,000 in CPA housing funds, and cannot market the property until fall because Local Initiative Program processing has been overwhelmed by MBTA Communities work. A town committee studying Liberty Ledge for possible housing reuse is due to report by October 31.
