Historic Districts Commission orders trim and paint corrections at 4 Concordance Way

SUDBURY — December 7, 2023 — Sudbury Historic Districts Commission orders trim rebuild at 4 Concordance Way and continues window fight. Owner Marek Mizraki's new build came back for retroactive review of 10 deviations from the July 2021 approval; Chair Anuraj Shah emphasized the original specifications came from the applicant, not the commission. The board voted unanimously to require front-entry trim be redone to match the approved drawings, to add a missing garage overhang bracket, and to paint deck and entry balusters white, and approved a 3-2 motion requiring the gable rake be revised to conceal extended gutters. A separate decision on grille-between-glass windows — which the applicant said would cost roughly $15,000 to replace — was continued to Jan. 4 for town counsel review of a Section 9 hardship argument raised by member Jordan. Earlier the panel approved Pella Reserve wood windows and, 3-2, wood patio doors without divided lights at 308 Concord Road, and continued Robert Greene's 84 Peacom Road barn-home plans to Feb. 1.
