CPC sets October 4 application deadline and will resume hybrid meetings October 16

SUDBURY — April 3, 2024 — Sudbury CPC sets October 4 deadline, eyes hybrid meetings, and loses 12-year member Lynn Remington. The committee, chaired by Sherrill P. Cline, approved six backlogged sets of minutes and worked through FY24 annual project reports — an exercise Community Preservation Coordinator Ryan said took "at least 300 emails" to chase down 24 submissions. Member Kirsten Roopenian criticized the Finance Committee for voting against two CPC articles, including the Parkinson Field driveway, without consulting the CPC; Select Board liaison Jennifer Roberts confirmed FinCom rescinded the driveway vote Monday. Remington, an at-large member for roughly 12 years, announced her resignation, saying "it's time to let someone else take that position and enjoy it." First fall review meeting is October 16.
