Conservation Commission issues two compliance certificates, continues two pending wetlands cases

SUDBURY — July 7, 2025 — Sudbury Conservation Commission clears a light July docket with four unanimous votes in 15 minutes. Chair David Henkels presided over a virtual meeting at which six members — Henkels, Vice-Chair Kenneth Holtz and members Jeremy Cook, Luke Faust, Bruce Porter and Mark Sevier — approved May 19 minutes, continued Dwight D. Henderson's 87 Moore Road garage-and-tree-removal notice of intent to Aug. 18, and continued Matthew Drew's 20 Tavern Circle tree-removal notice to July 21 while the applicant works to satisfy state requirements for a DEP file number. Staff member Lori told the commission "the adjacent neighbors are very afraid of these trees" and recommended continuing rather than closing the case. The commission also issued a full certificate of compliance for a completed septic replacement at 31 Meadowbrook Road and a partial certificate releasing 27 Bunker Drive from a 1990 subdivision-wide order of conditions.
