Conservation Commission closes 12-year-old wetlands file at 54 Old Garrison Road
SUDBURY — September 9, 2024 — Sudbury Conservation Commission closes 12-year-old Old Garrison Road file and renews bow hunt 5-0. The commission voted unanimously Monday to issue a negative determination of applicability allowing Vanessa Rumble and Jurgen Iebo to finish a long-stalled addition at 54 Old Garrison Road by hand, and to issue certificates of compliance closing expired wetlands orders from 2012 and 2018 (DEP files 301-1091 and 301-1232) — the latter lifting an encumbrance recorded at the Middlesex Registry of Deeds. Conservation Coordinator Lori Capone said "the only ground disturbance" will be hand-digging two remaining drywells. The commission also voted 5-0 to continue the controlled bow hunting program Oct. 7 through Dec. 31, citing 10 harvests last season, "no complaints," and a 55-person wait list. Chair David Henkels introduced new Associate Member Harry Hoffman.
