Conservation Commission advances Primrose daycare plan, continues Brewster Road delineation

SUDBURY — April 29, 2024 — Sudbury Conservation Commission scopes Brewster Road hearing to wetlands flags only, advances Primrose daycare. Chair David Henkels told abutters of 69-71 Brewster Road that the April 29 hearing on an abbreviated notice of intent (DEP 301-1414) would address "solely the delineation," not any future use, and the commission continued the matter to May 13 after Conservation Coordinator Lori Capone said she and peer reviewer Dave Crosman of BSC Group would walk the site to recheck channels and missing flags 2-5. Engineer Josh Klein of Stonefield Engineering and Design told the commission a Primrose Schools adaptive reuse at 225 Boston Post Road would cut riverfront impervious surface by roughly 115 square feet, add 150 native plantings and four trees, and replace a failing septic system, though a conservation restriction first required in 1998 remains unexecuted. Members also lifted a 33 Union Avenue enforcement order, issued a negative determination at 53 Thunder Road, and recommended reappointment of Kenneth Holtz, Mark Sevier and Bruce Porter.
