Sudbury ZBA approves Peacom Road home fitness studio with capacity caps

SUDBURY — March 6, 2023 — Sudbury ZBA approves two-year permit for Peacom Road home fitness studio over abutter objections. The board voted 4-0 Monday to let Seth and Noel Gold operate a small-group fitness business at 62 Peacom Road, capping attendance at four clients at a time and 24 per day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and requiring vegetative screening along the rear property line. Abutter Bob Green said the Golds had cleared trees "lot line to lot line" and that "all our privacy is gone." Chair John Gossels and members Frank W Riepe, Michael B Hershberg, John Reardon and associate Jeff Rose also renewed dog-kennel permits for 10 years at Tails by the Wayside (882 Boston Post Road) and Dr. Gail McNeil's clinic at 21 Union Avenue, and continued Red Bear LLC's restaurant-rebuild application at the former Acapulco's site to April 3.
