Sudbury ZBA approves new Stonebrook Road home, rejects Allen Avenue appeal

SUDBURY — August 7, 2023 — Sudbury ZBA approves new Stonebrook Road home, rebuffs an improperly filed Allen Avenue appeal. The board voted 4-0 to grant John Parsons and partner Brett Taylor a special permit at 33 Stonebrook Road, capping the new two-story home at 3,877 square feet and 35 feet in height after Member Jennifer K Pincus caught a square-footage discrepancy on the application. Chair John Reardon ruled that attorney Robert F. Dionisi Jr.'s appeal for owner Stacey E. Lamarro at 29 Allen Avenue had not been filed with the town clerk as Chapter 40A Section 15 requires, citing the 1966 Building Inspector v. Brown decision; Dionisi withdrew the filing. Prompted by ongoing noncompliance with cleanup Condition 11 at 58 Massasoit Ave., the board agreed to add language to future permits warning that violations could result in zoning enforcement actions "up to and including" revocation. Building Inspector Andrew Lewis said he would pursue compliance: "We certainly can fine them."
