SUDBURY — May 12, 2025 — Sudbury ZBA approves five permits, holds Route 20 sign case for survey work. The Zoning Board of Appeals on May 12 cleared a meeting hall at 615 Boston Post Road (30-person cap, no alcohol, 8 a.m.–9 p.m. weekdays), one-year chicken permits at 279 Old Sudbury Road and 267 North Road for up to 12 hens each, a side-yard variance for a 77-square-foot mudroom at 30 Beechwood Avenue, and a 3,016-square-foot rebuild at 19 Colonial Road after homeowner Jovan Tanasijevic's framing crew prematurely demolished the front facade. Every vote was 5-0, with associate Jeff Rose seated for absent member Michael Hershberg. Case 25-12 — a replacement freestanding sign for Target Painting at 708 Boston Post Road — was continued to June 9 after abutter Bill Aldrich called the existing installation "an abomination" and Clerk Frank Riepe said no instrument survey was on file. The board also accepted the withdrawal of 32 Hollow Oak Drive without prejudice.
