SUDBURY -- July 1, 2024, Sudbury ZBA approves Chase Bank at Shaw's Plaza, sends 4,400-square-foot Longfellow teardown back for redesign. The board voted 4-0 on both a parking variance reducing required spaces to 384 and a special permit for a drive-through at 505-525 Boston Post Road, with attorney Josh Fox representing TA Sudbury LLC and Wilder Companies. Chair John Riordan praised revised plans incorporating Planning Board comments. The board continued case 24-17, applicant Ben Maiden's 57 Longfellow Road rebuild, to Aug. 5 after Clerk Frank Riepe called the revisions "a little modest nip and tuck" and member Jennifer Pincus said the second floor exceeds her entire home. Joao Bittencourt and Francisca Goulart withdrew a use-variance request to park commercial vehicles at 33 Douglas Drive after Riordan said the board lacked authority to grant it. A chickens permit at 12 Trillium Way was approved 4-0.
