The Town of Sudbury's Town Clerk's Office announced that the 2026 State Election is taking place today, Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. All precincts will vote at the Fairbank Community Center, 40 Fairbank Rd.

The town has posted a specimen ballot, printed on two pages, one of which is double-sided. Information on the statewide ballot questions is available in the 2026 Information for Voters Book from the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and an audio guide to the ballot is also provided. The Select Board approved the election warrant on Sept. 29, 2026.

In-person early voting and the deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot have already passed. Voters who still have a mail-in ballot to return have several options. Ballots returned in person or placed in the drop box at the back entrance of the Town Clerk's Office are due by 8 p.m. today. Ballots mailed from within the United States and postmarked today must arrive by 5 p.m. on Nov. 6, and ballots mailed from outside the United States and postmarked today must arrive by 5 p.m. on Nov. 13.

Voters can also use the town's online tool to confirm whether their vote-by-mail ballot has been received and accepted for processing. Residents with questions were asked to contact the Town Clerk's Office at clerk@sudbury.ma.us or 978-639-3351.
