Sudbury tax payments due Nov. 2
The Town of Sudbury's Collector/Treasurer announced Oct. 21 that FY27 second-quarter real estate and personal property taxes are due Nov. 2, with payments accepted online, by mail or at a drop box outside the Flynn Building.
The Town of Sudbury's Collector/Treasurer announced Oct. 21 that fiscal year 2027 second-quarter real estate and personal property taxes are due Nov. 2.
Payments must be received in the Collector/Treasurer's office on or before that date to avoid late charges, according to Treasurer/Collector Kathy LaPorte's office.
Residents can pay taxes online, mail payment using the envelope provided with their tax bill, or use their bank's Billpay service, though the office cautioned that Billpay "is not an immediate payment system" and advised allowing ample time for processing.
Payments can also be dropped off in a car without leaving it, using the drop-off box outside the Flynn Building. The drop box does not accept cash, and the office asked that payments be enclosed in an envelope along with the Collector's copy of the tax bill so the payment can be properly credited.
The office's regular hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The preliminary tax bill, which included payment coupons for the first and second quarters, was mailed in July. Residents who have misplaced their bill can request a duplicate by calling (978) 639-3376 or emailing treasurer@sudbury.ma.us.
