The Sudbury Planning Board announced Oct. 28 that it is seeking community volunteers to serve on the Design Review Board, which currently has three vacant seats, each for a 3-year term.
The Design Review Board has five members, all appointed by the Planning Board. Members review applications for commercial signs as well as exterior changes to commercial buildings and multi-family developments.
Desired qualifications include living near a Business District or having an interest or professional training in architecture or design, landscape architecture, or graphics design. Members are expected to attend bi-monthly meetings, currently held via Zoom, typically on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.
Residents interested in serving are encouraged to submit a volunteer application. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. For more information, residents can contact the Planning and Community Development Department at 978-639-3387 or by email at PCD@sudbury.ma.us.
