Sudbury 250 Committee locks in May 16 logistics with shuttle plan and cannon schedule. Meeting remotely January 7, the committee closed the town center parking lot to the public, routing attendees to Featherland Park and likely Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School via five shuttle vans, with the Flynn Building lot reserved for accessible parking. Cannon firings by the Cranes Artillery crew will run roughly 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a pause during First Parish's 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. play, after member Andrea Ressler warned, "I do not want to hear the cannon going off in the middle of our very somber presentation." A contest winner ceremony and legislative remarks will begin on the Town Hall steps at 11:45 a.m.
The committee plans six to eight portable toilets, a hand-washing station, and six to eight Lincoln-Sudbury student volunteers to manage crowd control at cannon firings. Members also approved October 15 and December 10 minutes unanimously.
