Planning Board approves Celebree daycare at 631 Boston Post Road with 100-student cap
SUDBURY — May 22, 2024 — Sudbury Planning Board approves Celebree at 631 Boston Post Road, sends a second daycare back for driveway and basin fixes. Acting chair Justin Finnegan ran the May 22 meeting with chair Stephen Garvin absent. The board voted 4-0 to permit 100-student occupancy on the project's 34 parking spaces, with a monitoring study required before any increase in 25-student increments up to 150, plus quarterly septic inspections for three years. A second Celebree daycare at 225-227 Boston Post Road was continued to June 12 after members rejected attorney Mark Bobrowski's argument that the board was "diverging" from peer reviewers MDM Transportation and Horsley Witten. "Safety trumps everything in this condition," Finnegan said, asking for a relocated curb cut, basin restoration and an invasives eradication plan. The board also appointed Margaret Fotakis to the Design Review Board and approved solar at the DPW building, accessibility upgrades at Fairbank Community Center and a seasonal patio at Soul of India.
