SUDBURY — Park and Recreation Commission backed three CPC projects for Town Meeting 27. The commission voted to support the Feely Field bathroom, path and paving article, put at $461,000, and a Haskell Field fitness pad. The pad, a roughly $300,000 request that a $30,000 to $60,000 grant could reduce, passed 4-1, with Granger the lone no because of "the blue." A rail trail connection study passed 5-0.
Members took no position on a roughly half-million-dollar Haynes playground article. They dropped a turf survey in favor of a February or March user-group conversation, and approved October 19 and July 20 minutes.
