SUDBURY — April 4, 2024 — Sudbury Historic Districts Commission orders white front door at 4 Confidence Way and steers Hudson Road owner away from window replacement. Chair Anuraj Shah's commission voted 3-1 to require owner Marek Mizraki to paint his mismatched stained front door white, with Vice Chair Taryn Trexler opposed in favor of Tudor brown. The board approved architect Paul Mahoney's 10-foot addition to Jeff Pello's 1950s Cape at 402 Concord Road by 4-1, conditioned on wood Andersen Architectural or E-Series windows replacing the proposed vinyl-clad 400 Series; member Christopher Hagger dissented over a charcoal transom gable. Matthew Jennings withdrew his 18 Hudson Road siding and window application without prejudice after Hagger described identical "sludge" infiltration at his own 1815 house, resolved by replacing flashing and adding roof underlayment rather than replacing original windows. A Robert Green barn at 84 Peacom Road and a Mizraki solar-panel layout were continued to May 2.
