Sudbury announced that construction on the Sherman's Bridge Rehabilitation Project is set to begin Nov. 9, closing the bridge between Sudbury and Wayland for about 12 weeks until Feb. 1, 2027, with detour signage in place.
Sudbury's Department of Public Works says a culvert project on Old Sudbury Road near 230 Old Sudbury Road will close one lane with alternating traffic on Monday, Oct. 26, from about 9:30 a.m. until the afternoon.
The Sudbury Water District said it will perform scheduled utility maintenance at 98 Maynard Road on Oct. 21, with no expected impact to water service and Maynard Road remaining open to traffic.
The Sudbury Transportation Committee announced that wheelchair accessible vehicles are now available through the Go Sudbury! program, while the Sudbury-Wayland Boston Hospital Shuttle has ended and Catch Connect will stay fare-free through June 2027.
