Sudbury Housing Trust approves $6,000 emergency heating grant as repair costs climb. The board unanimously awarded the maximum small grant to a household of residents ages 89, 65 and 26 whose boiler failure left them without heat for weeks, with total repair costs topping $14,000. Housing specialist Ryan said the family covered the balance through family loans, the town social worker's office and St.

Member Kay Bell noted the cap was reduced from $7,500 to $6,000 in prior years and said "it just keeps going up."
