Sudbury Housing Trust backs Pride Day at $500 and orders a review of its emergency repair grants. Members voted 5-0 Tuesday to sponsor a table at the town's Pride Day event at the $500 level, drawn from an existing $2,000 sponsorship budget, after confirming the event is nonprofit-run and that other town bodies including the DEI Commission are participating. The trust then tabled a redacted small grant application tied to an emergency furnace and hot water repair, with staff member Adam noting the homeowners could not wait through the normal cycle because the furnace was "off-gassing carbon monoxide into the home." Member John Reardon said the recurring after-the-fact reimbursements show the process needs work, arguing "because we've always done it that way isn't the right reason to keep doing it that way." The grant returns May 14, with a broader program review to follow.
