Sudbury CPC approves April minutes, plans October return to admin funds vote

SUDBURY — August 11, 2022 — Sudbury CPC welcomes new coordinator and historical commission rep in light organizational meeting. Chair Sherrill Cline introduced new Community Preservation Coordinator Ryan Petite, on the job two days, and Jan Costa, the new Historical Commission liaison replacing Diana Warren. Director of Planning Adam Duchesneau told the committee that roughly $10,000 in administrative funds appropriated nearly two years ago for the community preservation plan and housing production plan updates has not been spent and will need to be revisited in October. Duchesneau also reported that consultant Peter Benton's draft historic preservation plan, funded through a Massachusetts Historical Commission reimbursement grant, is now posted online for about two weeks of public comment, with completion targeted for September. Petite, who moved from North Providence, R.I., said the work is something he "would have probably done for free." The committee unanimously approved April 6 minutes and adjourned to Oct. 19.
