Planning Board continues Wright Farm preschool expansion and Boston Post Road driveway hearings

SUDBURY — June 24, 2026 — Sudbury Planning Board continues two hearings, signals deep skepticism on a boulder-field driveway. The board on June 24 continued to July 15 a site plan and stormwater modification for Wright Farm Sudbury preschool at 157 Woodside Road, where owner Jennifer Eckler is seeking to expand licensed capacity from roughly 30 children to 80 with a 3,549-square-foot addition and a 12-chamber underground infiltration system. Chair Stephen Garvin rejected grass-only parking, citing emergency access and plowing. The board separately continued to August 12 a stormwater permit for two homes at 0 and 1011 Boston Post Road, where Director Adam Burney said he had "significant reservations" about a pervious-asphalt common driveway proposed over a field of large surface boulders without geotechnical analysis. Garvin, himself a professional engineer, said he had "very little faith this can be constructed as being proposed."
