Conservation Commission issues six orders of conditions in 16-item meeting

SUDBURY — July 15, 2024 — Sudbury Conservation Commission clears six orders of conditions and three extensions in 16-item meeting. The commission, chaired by David Henkels, approved orders for projects at 150 Prides Crossing (Shannon corral, after-the-fact), Lot 2 Brimstone Lane (Maciel single-family home), 500 Row (Albee addition), 94 Puritan Lane (McCarthy patio), 11 Aline Avenue (Gray detached garage) and 170 Greystone Lane (Wyckoff addition and septic). The Wyckoff project triggered a 2,714-square-foot mitigation planting requirement — two-to-one under the local bylaw because impervious area exceeded the 10 percent riverfront threshold by 1,357 square feet. Allison Goldfarb received a negative determination to install a five-foot woven-wire mesh fence around the roughly five-acre pasture at Bentstone Farm, 1011 Concord Road. Coordinator Lori told the commission that beaver flooding on the long-pending Bonnybrook Realty subdivision has likely submerged much of the open-space parcel John Dedering proposed to convey to the town, leaving "are we still in the same situation as we were two years ago" as an open question before the project returns.
