Conservation Commission approves Boston Post Road tight tank and Wayside Inn Road restoration order
Conservation Commission · Meeting of July 23, 2026
Sudbury Conservation Commission clears Boston Post Road tight tank and closes two-year Wayside Inn Road violation. The commission on July 27 unanimously issued a negative determination of applicability for a 2,000-gallon tight tank serving a new barbershop at 416-420A Boston Post Road, with four conditions including a pre-construction lot-line confirmation and a designated staging area. Applicant Shelly Colon and Jared Gillette of Cornerstone Engineering answered questions on groundwater management and drain separation.
In a separate vote, the commission issued an order of conditions permitting an after-the-fact gravel driveway and culvert at 182 Wayside Inn Road for applicant Andrew Leveroni, requiring two-to-one native replanting and 100 percent survivorship for two years. Vice-Chair Kenneth Holtz secured a restriction that herbicide treatment "should be cut and dab method only and exclusively." A Trevor Way restrictive covenant covering land out to Horse Pond Road was continued to August 10.
