Sudbury ZBA accepts Horsepond Road garage withdrawal, defers Boston Post Road case

SUDBURY — December 1, 2025 — Sudbury ZBA accepts Horsepond Road withdrawal, rolls 684 Boston Post Road case to Dec. 8. The Zoning Board of Appeals, meeting virtually Dec. 1 ahead of Town Meeting, accepted a withdrawal without prejudice of Ananda Chakravarti's special-permit application to build a garage on a non-conforming lot at 151 Horsepond Road. No one from the applicant's side appeared on the call. "We don't know why they withdrew," Chair John Riordan said. The board voted 4-0, with Jennifer Pincus, Alexander Dorjets, Clerk Frank Riepe and Riordan in favor; Michael Hershberg was not present. The board then voted 4-0 to immediately continue Case 25-32 — Michael J. Griffin and Penobscot Realty Trust's renewal for motor vehicle repair and sales at 684 Boston Post Road — to Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. The session adjourned after roughly 10 minutes.
