Members, led by Kara Morczynski, also opened debate over whether to split the combined superintendent-principal role into two jobs. Director of Finance Kirsten Patterson reported Oct. 1 enrollment of 1,483 — down 30 — and warned of a 14 percent state-set increase in private special-education tuition rates for FY24, after years of increases under 2.5 percent.
