Samuel "Sy" Edward Mintz, 96, of Sudbury, died on June 22, 2026. He was born on August 6, 1929. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence Helen Mintz; his parents, Adolphe and Helen; his siblings, Lawrence Mintz and Theresa Papp (Terry); and his granddaughter Natalie Mintz. He is survived by his children, Shelley Mintz of Brookline, Adam, Beth Mintz of Westborough, Andrea (Mintz) and Tim Gilmore of Lebanon, NH, and Julie (Mintz) and Sean Hopkinson of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Haley and Josh Gilmore, Elliot and Leah Mintz, and Mitchell, Liora, and Aaron Hopkinson; and his close friend Maureen Grace of Newton.
